I just installed Linux on my early 2008 iMac. After the install finished the CD didn’t eject. Subsequent reboots just booted from the cdrom again and again.

How can I force a CD to eject from an iMac?
- Hold down the option key on start-up until the disk/boot icons appear. (option is the Alt key on a PC keyboard)
- Then press the eject key (or F12) on the keyboard.
